XR activists report back on the 'Tell the Truth' BBC campaign | Extinction Rebellion

Good news! Begun in December 2018 XR's actions calling on the BBC to "Tell the Truth" about the climate crisis have achieved an initial positive outcome. In July 2019 Sir Tony Hall (Director General of the BBC) met with XR's Jon, Gail, Donnachadh, Daze and Ronan. Jon remarked, "... I feel very encouraged by this first meeting, I hope there will be many more meetings to come in the future." Gail continued, "There's more to come from the BBC and I feel really welcome to be in a dialogue with them to do more."
