SHOP UA HOVR RISE:
The Under Armour HOVR Rise cross trainer is the newest functional fitness oriented shoe from UA. This model could best be described as a "best of all worlds" training shoe.
The HOVR Rise isn't as stable as the TriBase Reign, which features a firm outsole and 4mm heel-to-toe drop, and its construction is not as heavy as the HOVR APEX, it's a great in-between model.

So what makes the UA HOVR Rise one of my favorite cross training shoes?
1. UA HOVR Midsole
I'm a huge fan of the comfort and responsiveness that comes along with the Under Armour's HOVR midsole.
The midsole in this model can support sub-maximal loads and provide responsiveness/comfort during runs, jumps, and agility work.
2. Lightweight Construction
The HOVR Rise has a weight of 10.6 ounces, which is fairly light for cross training shoes and makes this a great option for multiple activities.
3. Full Rubber Outsole
The full rubber outsole gives this shoe a solid grip on multiple surfaces and provides an okay amount of support under weight.
4. Fair Price
At the fair price of $100.00 USD, I feel that the HOVR Rise is one of the best options on the market for the consumer that wants a shoe that they can wear on a day-to-day basis, but also bring to the gym and play sports in.
Wrapping Up
Overall, I'm a big fan of the UA HOVR Rise! It's not the best model for stability, but it does a great job tackling multiple tasks you can throw its way.
