The Reason Many are in Desperate Need with No Hope One of the first and most basic sayings of Jesus that you probably heard in your life will end up being one of the most difficult to live by, and that is when Jesus said; “Seek FIRST the Kingdom of God and HIS righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.” To just read that scripture is one thing but to LIVE BY IT and to TRUST JESUS is a completely different thing! If we really trust Jesus and if we are really HIS children we will seek His Kingdom work FIRST, we will seek HIS GOOD PLEASURE FIRST, and then He will provide us with everything we need to do HIS work, to continue to survive here on this earth. He will provide ALL our needs but we have to seek Him, HIS will, HIS will FIRST. The reason why most people are in desperate need is they do not pray and seek their FATHER who has ALL THINGS. They try to hold them up by the arm of their flesh, they do things THEIR way, and they find in the end that they are poor and broken. I am not preaching the “health and wellness” gospel here. It doesn’t mean that if we seek the Lord first we will be rich and without any sickness in our life. If we follow Jesus we WILL go through trials and tribulations. There will be times in our life where we will have nothing and we will learn to give God glory when we have nothing or when we have everything, when we have health and in sickness. If we really are with Jesus, we will learn to do His will, to please Him and to serve Him NO MATTER WHAT. Are we really seeking first the Kingdom of God and HIS RIGHTEOUSESS and are we waiting on HIM to supply our needs? Or are we living for ourselves first, putting our own pleasure first? You know, many people are just looking for a good vocation, so that then they can have a good retirement plan, so that then one day they can retire and live out the REST OF THEIR LIFE FOR THEIR OWN PLEASURE. They have NO NEED for Jesus, they have no need for doing His work. BUT if we really are the Children of God we have the things of God’s heart close to our heart. We want other people to be reconciled with their Creator, we have the love of the TRUTH in us and we DAILY will be about our Fathers business. Jesus was always about His Father’s business, and if we are the Children of the Light, the Children of the Truth, we also will be about HIS business! Are we REALLY following Jesus? Are we putting HIS commandments FIRST in our life? Or have we set up other things in our life? Are we in reality living for ourselves? Check your OWN life; See if you really are living by the words of Jesus or if you are living on the arm of the FLESH, if you are living for yourself. May the grace of Jesus be with you.
