Keto seems to be the magic word these days, and for good reason too. I think the majority of the content of this YouTube channel, along with my books and my personal story, are testaments to that. We’ve seen what Keto can do to us mentally and physically and it is no fad, let me be very clear about that. “Revolutionary diets” come along and disappear far too often these days, and for a variety of reasons like being unhealthy or ineffective. Keto however is not something that is going to come along and go out of fashion. Keto goes beyond that for me It is a game-changer if there ever was one. I see it more as a scientific breakthrough than a diet. It just took us this long to get there, and thank goodness we did.
BUT with anything we do to improve our health and wellbeing, it’s not always going to be a bed of roses. While Keto is relatively easy… we will always want easy to be easier. Sometimes we stare down the carbs in the supermarket, we dream about sugar and desserts, we have cravings, thoughts of small things that we think are no big deal without realizing that they will knock us out of ketosis and sometimes (as you’ll see in this video) we don’t even have a clue what’s causing it. We think we’re doing everything right, we’re avoiding what we should avoid, we’re doing what we should be doing, we’re in Keto... right? Well, no, not always. Keto is relatively simple in theory but it does require work and like anything in life with value, it’s worth doing and doing right. It requires some discipline, especially during the hard times. And we have to be tough sometimes, and that’s not always as easy as it appears. Not for anyone.
And yes, we’ve all been there.
It’s the little details we don’t even think about that can affect our keto lifestyle and in this video I intend to shed some light on what we need to be doing/avoiding in order to further its benefits to achieve it’s full potential and experience our overall feeling of wellbeing, physically and mentally. It’s not rocket science, it’s extremely simple actually, but there are factors that are easily overlooked and it’s not your fault. I hope to highlight them and help you in your keto journey.
