Police approved march to the US consulate today to petition for the Hong Kong human rights and democracy act - lots of chants in English today - “Fight for freedom, stand with Hong Kong” and “Resist Beijing, Liberate Hong Kong”. HongKong Protestors urge the United States to pass the Hong Kong Bill of Rights on Human Rights and Democracy.
The event, entitled "Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Prayer Meeting", is held by the American Embassy in Garden Road.
They are sings the American national anthem along the way.
Some people along the way called "Recovering Hong Kong, expelling the Communist Party" and "Liberate HK". Wait for the slogan.
Some members of the public initiated a petition from the Chater Garden in Central today. And they sang "Hong Kong City State Songs".
A man tied a fluorescent ribbon and was questioned as a demonstrator. He explained that his task was to prevent others from rushing to the end. (2:35 PM)
