In this repair video, we will be working on Dell Inspiron 7000 Series model 7373 that came in for no power repair. We used the flir thermal camera to detect heat properties of the Dell Inspiton 3737 board. The Flir Thermal cam detected a short pointing to the Power controller Chip. We tested near by capacitor and confirmed the short. After replacing the shorted ic, we then discovered a faulty Mosfet which was generating allot of heat under the flir thermal cam. We ordered the mosfet from China, 2 weeks later we received it. The dell inspiron 7373 laptop was fixed after replacing and soldering a new mosfet chip. Let see how that was done.
