The South African: Roamer Trailer

The South African: Roamer Trailer This is the second series to The South African: True Colours.

See the synopsis below.

Apartheid has ended, and Saesha’s future still depends on skin colour. Much of what has happened was out of her control, and she tries hard to keep it together. Terms like acceptance and trust seem to be an irony for her. Freedom for her is going for a drive, but there’s something else to driving; driving gives her wings when she wants to get away from everything and then one day, she accidentally meets a street racer.

Saesha feels she can do this whether she’s going to have an arranged marriage or a love marriage and can see herself having a future in South Africa. She can even see herself having her own home if she does remain single. Saesha, like every other woman in South Africa, lives with fear. Women groups are saying that a woman is raped every eighteen seconds in South Africa and statistics demonstrate that infants and toddlers are raped on a low but consistent level.

She thinks her destiny is insignificant because she doesn’t know what it’s like to have good opportunities come her way, to spot them, attain them on her own and then to hold onto them. Then one day, everything is about to change, and that’s the day her world is shaken. It’s going to take a tough person to make themselves tougher…
