Skyscraper Peak | Mount Rainier National Park | Landscape Photography

Perseverance and Patience pay off on this trip!

Skyscraper Peak is a 7,000 foot peak to the north of the Sunrise Visitor Center. The peak is accessed via Skyscraper Pass on the Wonderland Trail. The Wonderland Trail is a 93 mile circuit of Mount Rainier National Park. For this trip, I took a chance on the changing weather in hopes of a sunset photo with some atmosphere and clouds. This is always a risky endeavor, but it is also backstopped by a wonderful day out in the wilderness and in solitude with nature.
