The cattle thiefs.... Last couple of years best pair of khillari bulls went missing from Saligao when they were kept for grazing in the field and also from the hill next to the Saligao Seminar.
My cousin Vishram Ghadi's best two pairs went missing within a year... also bulls belonging to Uday Naik, Ravlu Haldankar ..few more farmers from Arrarim complained about their cattle missing from Pilern hill.
Yesterday evening Dhaktu Naik found his bull missing for from Pilern hill than while searching he found it was tied to an acasia tree.
He suspected some faul play..and kept vigil.
Later evening three guys from Guirim came with a rikshaw tempo to steal that bull.
Suspected guys managed to run leaving their scooter and a mobile phone.
Police are investigating this theft case.
Till late nobody was arrested in this matter.
Saligao farmers are requsting for a thorough investigation in this sensitive issue.
