Mum attempts to 'abandon' baby on roadside after row with the father

Beatriz Fernandes was caught on camera leaving her daughter on the pavement in Brazil. She claims it was a moment of madness after rowing with her ex-partner who was four-and-a-half hours late to pick up her daughter. Ex-partner Eduardo Anibal, a lawyer, is now fighting for full custody of their 11-month-old daughter. Fernandes said: 'The truth was I wasn't thinking. I was very angry, very nervous. I had a lot of baby bags with her clothes in the car. I decided to take her out of the car and put her on the ground.'
