Gloucestershire OPCC and Police eco commitment for A Green and Pleasant County

Gloucestershire OPCC and Police eco commitment for A Green and Pleasant County The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire Constabulary have launched the Police and Crime Plan commitment to 'A Green and Pleasant County for now and in the future.'

The commitment is recognition that Gloucestershire, the UK and the World needs more organisations to step up and make their core business run in a way that is a kind on the environment as possible, and giving back and improving the environment where it can.

Gloucestershire Constabulary and OPCC is the first, and only, in the UK to be given the ISO 14001 Certification by Lloyds Register. Acknowledging efforts the organisations have made to reducing waste, increasing recycling, saving energy and improving policy and practice to reduce the negative impacts on the planet.
