Tanker attack: Are the US and Iran headed for 'accidental' war? | DW News

Iran's president Hassan Rouhani says his country is backing away from its agreement with world powers to limit its nuclear program. This follows US accusations that Iran carried out attacks on two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman near the Strait of Hormuz that threaten escalate tensions in the Middle East. Washington released a video that it says proves Iran is responsible. Britain says it believes the images are authentic, while Iran denies the allegations. The UN is calling for an independent investigation.
