Systemic Discrimination Againt Trans Folks? | My Experience

I'm making this very difficult video because it's something important to me. Many trans folks, whether trans men, trans women or nonbinary folks who are survivors of sexual abuse and have seeked counseling for it are being systematically discriminated against. And I'm not saying that lightly, I was explicitly told by a professional in that area that invalidating and questioning the motive behind a survivor's coming out as trans is standard procedure and is the first thing that is instructed to do, should a situation like this present itself.

Please spread the word, this discriminatory practice needs to stop. It's harmful in so many ways and just adds on the pain those people are already going through.
