How to Reinforce The Weaker Hand - Bass Tones and Closed Slaps Conga Exercise 10

This exercise follows up on the previous one, and aims to strengthen the weaker hand using Bass Tone and Closed Slaps.The movement between Bass Tones and Closed Slaps should be clean, and projected so you clearly hear the difference between sounds.

Please note the Ghost Notes.

If you find this exercise too fast, then please do the advice noted below.

All exercises, should be done with the accompaniment of a ‘metronome’ as a study aid, at ‘slow tempo’, and being aware where ‘beat one’ is…very important!

Recommended practice time: 5 minutes non stop, use a timer!

Sequence: Everyday, if possible.

Be patient!
