Conservative leadership hopefuls take part in live debate

Conservative Party leadership candidates take part in a live television debate on Channel 4, ahead of the next round of voting on Tuesday.

Five of the six remaining candidates for the Conservative leadership clashed during the programme leaving viewers with mixed reviews.

Sajid Javid, Rory Stewart, Dominic Raab, Michael Gove and Jeremy Hunt discussed how they'd handle Brexit and what they'd do as Tory leader.

Boris Johnson is the only candidate fighting for the leadership of the Conservative party who did not take part in the televised debate.
