You should always check the margin for these methods before trying them. The methods often use items that don't trade very frequently, so the margins can change a lot. Most of these methods have very low requirements. These money making methods are best done in short bursts. I wouldn't recommend doing these for hours on end.

Try them out for 20 minutes and see how long it takes for the items to sell. A lot of these item are quest items, so you can often get an inflated margin just because someone needs it for a quest.
