"Ravenous Raven" Technique- Lacing- Fluid Art- Acrylic Pouring

Welcome to my channel, I am so glad you're here! Thank you so much for watching, subscribing, liking, sharing and commenting!! It means so much!!

As always Paintings are for sale!

Layering and ring pour on a 22x28 canvas. This particular technique involves what I am calling "Ravenous Raven". My house paint eats the acrylic paints that I pour on the canvas. It gives my paintings the look of lightening. Layered first is my house paint in purple valley mixed with floetrol. Then comes the secret weapon, lol, the black house paint mixed 50/50 with floetrol and water to thin. Then layer your pour on top.The lacing seems to be the heaviest in the areas that have the thinnest amount of acrylic paint. Furthermore, torching definitely helps the lacing form. I probably need to move my fire extinguisher to my art room, lol!

I just picked up the White version of my black paint, I am going to see if the White also does the same thing. I have tried this technique with multiple kinds of pours and they all seem to work. However, more exploration is required.

Paints are a combination of Golden, Arteza, Artist Loft, Decoart, Folkart, Amsterdam, Winsor&Newton, Amsterdam and various pigments. Pouring medium is Golden color pouring and gloss medium and floetrol.
