Prime Time With Ravish, April 29, 2019 | Election Body Yet To Act On Poll Code Complaints Against PM

On Prime Time, Ravish Kumar asks if the Election Commission is maintaining an unbiased approach towards complaints of poll code violations reported against political leaders. Despite complaints against Prime Minister Modi and BJP president Amit Shah for alleged violations of model code of conduct, no action has been taken by the commission on the complaints. The Congress has alleged that PM Modi as well as Amit Shah have made references to the military in their poll campaigns and demanded that a ban on campaigning be imposed on them like it was done with other political leaders for poll code violations.
