Goa government has given permission for lease renewal to mining company H L Nathurmal. This will generate employment for around 50 people from mining affected areas. After environmental clearance is obtained for said mine, excavation and re-handling can be commenced. CEO of HL Nathurmal has informed that their lease has been extended till 2030.
