Children in the state are suffering from allergic reactions and other unknown symptoms after consuming adulterated food items manufactured outside the state but Government hasn't taken any measures to curb the menace as yet. It is high time for the relevant departments to strictly monitor various food items being sold in the state.
A minor from Tabungkhok Makha Leikai in Imphal West suffered after consuming one such unchecked food products on May 20.
Such predicament exposes negligence of the relevant departments in performing their duties.
